Loveliness*

Fresh cut flowers. It's an indulgence to buy them. More often we are able to get them from our garden. However, most of our garden flowers that would be nice in a vase are really spring and early summer flowers.

Shawn just started a new part-time gig at a flower farm. And at the end of the day, the owner tells him take these leftovers, otherwise they'll be trash. I think they sell to florists and maybe have booths at farmer's markets. So sometimes there are leftovers and there will be no wasting of these leftovers with us.

He brought home a bucket of flowers the other day. We have 3 vases FULL. I don't even know what half the stuff is but it's simply beautiful. And I'm simply thankful to have this beauty gracing my home.
