Just as I knew ... the Cereus bloomed while I was out of town. Oh my, isn't it beautiful?? Luckily Shawn was there to catch the moment. I had seen some photos on the internet of a blooming cereus but never imagined it would be so cool. It didn't last long though. It bloomed Friday night and by Saturday mid-morning it was starting to fade. By the time I made it home it was done, spent.
