Inspired by this week's assignment at Digital Photography School, I spent some time shooting plants, not flowers. These are some photos of the plant in the chimnea. The chimnea bottom broke out so Shawn stuck it in the ground and planted some stuff in it. In the top of it. It's some sort of succulent but it can survive the winter outside. Here it is in January, the dead of winter.
In chronicling the gardens since January, it's amazing to see the cycle. And even though I've seen the cycle over and over, every year, I can't help but stop and look at some point every day.
