Peeks Around 18*

Peeks Around 18 is the rusty pliers. Shawn found a new home for them, hanging on the fence in the back yard.

Done*

So the morning glories bloom just before dawn. At dawn they are full and open. See yesterday's post. This is a morning glory just a few hours later. Done. That quick and it's all over. But there are also tons of flower buds. So that quantity makes up for the quickness. We'll have blooms pretty much every day until mid to late October.

Dawn*

Dawn from our deck. Dawn, by the way, is at 6:15 am right now. I still find it hard to believe that I'm ever up that early. There's something about it though.

Patience*

The moonflowers are just starting to fill in and climb. It seems like they are taking a really, really, long time this year. But I'm pretty sure I say that every time at this point. I remember complaining about how lame they were and then in September we had the most beautiful flowers. But this year, it really does seem to be taking longer. Sounds like I need to cultivate some patience.
